Are you saying that your information has come from the club then Peter as I am not aware that you are an official spokesperson of the club or involved in the decision making process to know the facts. Without knowing that your information is not assumption, I have no reason to be able to accept your assurances.

I will continue to trust that all is in order until something official has been said by the club. If they feel they are able to go into detail and clarify some of the points I have raised then that would be great too.

Edit - You've since changed your post to take out your inference on my trust in the club so I have amended the above as well.

My understanding of the word is fine Peter. I just won't accept your assurance as I have no reason at present to believe that it is based on anything other than assumption. Reading between the lines of your posts it could be inferred that you're implying the information has come from the club, but woudln't it just be easier for you to say so? It's not going to hurt anyone is it?

I know the option was in the contract for reckyhowever when his contract was up, as fiar as im aware CITY failed to produce that document to ricky this does have to be done in the next 7 days from when his contract is up. So there fore it wont go to tribunial as he is under 24. I belive that CITY have cocked up big time for this and will have to feel the damage done when he walks out of the club for free. As before he was wanted by a number of full time clubs putting huge offers in but City decided to turn it down. I have looked at the link fron AFC DONS and that does sound quite promising that he will be heading to the CONFERENCE club. You cant blame Ricky as he is still young and has huge ambition in football he has to think long term aswell as i persume he has a family to support at home. I do honestly think that Ricky could make it in the football league if given the chance to play in his best position just behind the front two, it will be hard as not many clubs have a player doing this role. If he is to leave the club he will be sadly missed by every one as he has always put 110% into every game played.

And why should any or us give any cognisence to the views of an anonymous poster whose total messageboard output to date numbers 5 postings all of which have related to the topic of Ricky Holmes. You clearly have a rather nasty little personal axe to grind here....

But is your assurances informed or based on your own assumptions Peter? It's an easy answer to give. Perhaps I should infer that your unwillingness to give a straight answer is because you actually know nothing about the situation.

In the past week I have heard alot of MPs assuring the public that they have done nothing wrong.
The value of their assurances are perceived by some to be on par with one on here.
Words such as assure, guarantee, promise, honestlyseem to be worth less today than previously.

No. You say that Tim shouldn't condemn everyone because of the shortcomings of a few MP's but your acting like one by not giving straight answers to simple questions.

There's no need to be childish as well. Or is that a symptom of turning 60 that you start to regress from acting like an adult. If thats the case then i look forward to it!

I doubt we'd be seriously interested in Ricky if there was potentially a large transfer fee involved. Especially after the saga we had with Braintree last season over the Chris Sullivan transfer where we ended up paying far more at the tribunal than we were originally prepared to offer them.
