i personally think we have taken ricky as far as we can and he really does need to move on to develop and learn off of better coaches. if we still had paul parker or gary bellamy id say they could bring him on that bit more but i dont think that glenn and jeff can.
good luck to him and if he chooses to go, i think he will become a far better player.
i dont think the club should hold anyone back and when we stopped him signing for peterborough when we were going for the ryman title, i think this was a bit unfair. other clubs let their players go mid season and still win things.

I heard that discussions were only ever informal anyway, it was a long way off from being the done deal that was suggested at the start of this thread.

You would have had to pay him a lot more though,Buggy,even to compensate him for all the extra travelling..and costs.. 3 or 4 times a week.Which must equate to 15 odd hours minimum I would have thought.

OI once said that players play for AFCW because they want to...sorry but thats bollocks its money and always will be.
