I most certainly have no precise information of the finances available to everyone else, Gary. It is also true that I have no precise information as to the proportion of the overall proceeds of the sale of the ground which will be made available for football purposes. I have merely made some assumptions based upon my exposure to relevant messageboards over the past few months together with the fact that H & Y and been "going for it" and have indeed achieved...

Clearly, to me, the plan is for H & Y to move back to Yeading's ground which will be redeveloped on the proceeds of the sale of the Church Road Ground. The size of the site at Church Road is over 8 acres which given it's location would make it worth around £10 million with planning permission. Of course the club don't have to wait until the ground is sold before they get their hands on the loot as they can borrow using the site as security.

Rik....TBH there has only been one non-league club has given them anything like a real run for their money..and modesty forbids me from saying who.

Apart from the obbsesive Dan on Rymans and CB..(who,even he, it seems has mellowed somewhat after his kind reception here)they have in the main been reasonable and sometimes even supportive towards City...and what we are trying to achieve here.

It's a question of risk, Rik. Just because you might walk across the road with your eyes shut and fail to get run over doesn't of itself justify walking across the road with one's eyes shut....

Old Isthmian, who has seen two games at Hampton in the past couple of weeks is giving us his opinions of the risks associated with large crowds at Hampton's ground....
