Next season I would be more than happy with the folllowing:

League - Playoffs
FA Cup - 1st round
FA Trophy - 3rd round
Setanta Shield - 4th round going out to a Conference side
Essex Senior Cup - No bothered how we do as i want this to be used exclusivly for the reserves and fringe players to help them progress, give them a chance to progress and keep up fitness levels. In the early rounds at least, i don't want to see the likes of Rainford anywhere near the...

I hope the MT aren't scared of making a good start after the unrealistically raised expectations of this season.
People talk about building teams around a Central Midfielder or a striker, but I think you need to cover all the positions and if we've learned anything this season, surely it's that you can't go through four months without a right back. It's not the most glamorous role but it is very important.
I'd like to think that if we reach enough play-offs,...

i will be looking for a more settled side ( obviously injuries suspensions play apart ) i thought the side was changed to often especially towards the end of the season. i will be looking for far more commitment from certain players, effort for the team goes a long way for me sometimes over a players supposed skill level.i would also like to see more local youngsters making the bench squad. provided we play decent football with pride then the winning of the league to me isnt the be all end all .

Positive attitude of JK/GP suggests will aim for the title.

League line up looks strong so realistically I would be happy with play-offs, preferably in top three.

Much depends on how season pans out as if we are top at Christmas and limp into the play offs......

I think we should conytinue to aim for a PO position in this league and hopefully a promotion within the next 2-3 years.

Dave Rainford has to be the main man, and we need to build the team around him. Overall, the team needs to be quicker, stronger and fitter, so lowering the average age of the team would be a good move. I dare say we'll see plenty of personnel changes but I'm sure we'll be fine for next year.

Like others, I have the feeling that the division maybe stronger next year, but that may not be a bad thing as we tend to play better against better teams, and an increase in the...

I think next season the BSS will be a tougher league to get out of than it has been this season, which is why we need to some radical changes in the summer!

As a "consolidator" for this season, it would be hypocritical for me to call for Norfolk & Good's heads now, even after such a monumental post-Xmas screw-up. I think therefore they have to be given at least til Xmas to make some real progress.

So what would be acceptable progress next season?

And what's the best way to achieve it?

Don't somehow think waltzing away with the title is realistic. Not even convinced a play-off place is gonna...
